NOW Business Builder ("we", the data controller) collects and processes personal data to provide the Service.

Data we collect

Account data: name, email, password hash, avatar
Usage data: onboarding answers, generated content, credit history
Payment data: processed by Paddle (we never see card numbers)
Technical data: IP, browser, device

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For users in the EU/UK, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

Contract — account creation, content generation, billing, and customer support are necessary to deliver the Service you signed up for.
Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and limited product analytics.
Legal obligation — tax, accounting and statutory record-keeping (handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record).
Consent — non-essential cookies and any optional marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.

Data retention

Account, usage and generated content are kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after deletion or last activity, after which they are erased or anonymised. Billing records held by Paddle are retained for the period required by applicable tax law (typically 7–10 years).

Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session security. We do not set marketing or third-party tracking cookies without your consent. You can manage your preference at any time via the cookie banner.

International transfers

Our processors (Paddle, Supabase, AI providers) may process data outside the EU/UK under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).

We share data with the following processors so we can run the Service:

Paddle.com Market Ltd — Merchant of Record, payments, billing, tax
Supabase — authentication and database hosting
AI providers — to generate content from your inputs
